  15. The ease of creating organic shapes in LW modeler is definitly an
  16. experience thing.  I'd say if you know 3DS, you own 3DS, and you're very
  17. comfortable with 3DS, you probably wouldn't gain much in this area.

  19. But, if you have the little extra $$, you might want to invest in it
  20. anyway.  It's an excellent tool to use for both animation and some
  21. creative post production video effects.  It would be an excellent add on
  22. to a more complex 3D system.  And well worth the money, too...
